The project was designed by Architect-Engineer Necip Dinç, all the calligraphy works were made by Calligraph Hüseyin Kutlu and the interior walls are covered with classic İznik tiles. Four panels prepared with İznik Foundation tiles for the qibla facade are the largest mosque panels in the world.

İznik Foundation tiles were used in Sabancı Mosque which has become Adana's symbol shortly after it was opened in 1998 due to its location. The Mosque offers capacity of 28 thousand 500 people for prayer service.
