According to the Japanese belief, old trees carrying the spirit of their ancestors are sacred. The camphor tree, the symbol of the city of Tokai, was designed and produced on tiles specifically for the subway station. This project carried out together with Bursa Nilüfer Municipality also included a park built in front of this subway station. As İznik Foundation, we prepared the tiles adorned with water lilies for the benches in the park.
